What started as a passion project quickly became a complex publishing operation: editorial calendars, contributor management, design pipelines, email marketing, social media, subscription systems, advertising…
The chaos was relentless. We were doing everything manually, duct-taping systems together, and burning out fast.
So I did what I’ve always done: I built systems. Automations that handled the repetitive work. Dashboards that showed us what mattered. Workflows that ran while we slept.
Five years later, the magazine is thriving with a small team. And the systems I built for us? They became the foundation of what I now build for other authors.
